Restoring Erotic Paintings at the Forbidden City

Deep inside the Palace Museum, in the Jing Si Studio. This is the place where cultural relic restorer Lin Mo has been exiled, and where his nightmare begins.

A secret order, a badly damaged Song dynasty erotic painting, and three days to restore it or get fired! It’s an impossible task! Until he reveals the forbidden art of the Moying School: using blood as a catalyst and spiritual power as ink to restore anything!

The first painting brings to life Su Wan’er, a peerlessly beautiful painted immortal! Gentle as water, she can strike down enemies with her music, yet knows nothing of the world three hundred years later. All she remembers is the fragment of A Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains she gave her father...

The second painting awakens Murong Xue, a fallen princess sealed away for three hundred years! Once the last Princess Changping of the Ming dynasty, her boundless resentment over her kingdom’s fall and her family’s destruction has become an unquenchable thirst for vengeance. “The Moying School? Good! If it means I can get revenge, I, Murong Xue, will serve you as my master!”

From then on, the good-for-nothing intern relegated to a forgotten corner of the Palace Museum transforms into a mysterious powerhouse, commanding peerless painted spirits and wielding forbidden powers!

Dragon energy tempers his body, and his bloodline is reborn! He is no longer a pushover anyone can trample. He is the most dangerous hunter in the Forbidden City! From crushing the Palace Museum’s director to venturing into Beijing’s underground ghost market, he proceeds one careful step at a time, determined to uncover the mystery of his origins and restore everything the two painted spirits have lost!

But the forces lurking in the dark are far beyond anything he imagined! There is the inscrutable “Nine-Thousand-Year-Old,” a flying zombie demoness who has lived for who knows how long, and a map of the First Emperor’s mausoleum buried for a thousand years... A shocking conspiracy, spanning the past and present and bound up in centuries of grudges, is slowly beginning to unfold!
