Silence of All Things

Has your memory ever been altered? A photo of people together that never existed, a lie everyone is certain is true: only you can see the “cracks” in reality with your eyes wide open!

Lin Yan, a folklore student, is drawn into a war beyond human understanding after his mentor vanishes under mysterious circumstances. He discovers that the world we live in is nothing more than a “program” riddled with flaws, being silently eroded and rewritten by anomalies known as the “Mute.”

From memory parasites in Suolong Village, to the Mute’s broadcasts in Kowloon Walled City, to the weeping angels at Sensoji Temple… Every desperate struggle that brings him to the brink of death leaves a twisted “rule mark” on his body, granting him a “mind’s eye” that can glimpse the truth and the power to “blink” through space! But these powers come at a price: his soul is torn apart, and he could “fall” at any moment, plunging into the abyss and becoming the next terrifying anomaly!

Then, after an astonishing encounter with the universe’s “Dreamweaver,” the rules within him are “rewoven,” transforming him into the only “Scribe” in existence! He can “read” the underlying text of all things, and even “edit” the tiniest details of reality: bringing the dead back to life, reversing rules, and making the impossible possible!

But his rise also lights up a “beacon” in the universe. Countless “sharks” from other dimensions are sniffing out the “scent” of reality’s blood, greedily eyeing this beautiful yet fragile world!

As the wordless book of the world is opened and reality’s firewall teeters on the verge of collapse, how will Lin Yan, the “stargazer” who can read the universe’s code, write humanity’s ultimate fate?
