The Legend of Zhu Xian: The Asura Calamity continues the tale. Zhang Xiaofan and Lu Xueqi retire to Dazhu Peak, but when a blood-red bolt of lightning shatters Baguio's ice coffin and the Acacia Bell stirs, they are drawn into a cataclysm from the netherworld.
After entering the Netherworld, they brave the City of Bones and the treacherous River of Forgetfulness, battle the Seven Fiend Generals, and explore the Divine Burial Abyss. There they learn, to their shock, that Baguio has become Yaoguang, the Asura King, while Qin Wuyan sets a blood-sacrifice conspiracy in motion. The Netherworld army besieges Qingyun Mountain, the Illusory Moon Grotto opens, and the Zhu Xian Sword rings out as good and evil clash in a battle to the death.
The Chaos Zhu Xian Bridge purifies the power of the Asuras. Baguio briefly awakens, then sacrifices her soul to seal the passage to the Netherworld. Ten years later, Zhang Xiaofan and Lu Xueqi awaken on Dazhu Peak and resume an ordinary life with their child, Zhang Nianyao.
From the fateful beginnings in Caomiao Village, to redemption in the Netherworld, to the defense of Qingyun Mountain, they break calamities with love and seek the truth of their hearts through the sword. The story continues with the cycle of life and death, love and redemption among the beings of the three realms after Zhu Xian, unveils the original novel's unanswered mysteries, and paints a sweeping saga of crossing the divide between life and death to protect all living beings.
All I can say is that no wonder no one is watching.
