Bodhi Plays Favorites, and the Dark Secrets of Journey to the West Grow Even Darker

[Bodhi Spoils His Disciples]+ [Sun Wukong, His Beloved Disciple]+ [Bully Tathagata]+ [Undercover Shenanigans]+ [Never Plays by the Rules]

Overworked office worker Wu Qiang gets caught up in a contest between Patriarch Bodhi and Hongjun after an accident.

Calling it a contest is generous. Those two were just bored out of their minds and made a bet.

But when Wu Qiang, the pawn, relives the calamity of Journey to the West, every move he makes takes everyone by surprise.

Bodhi wins, but not entirely...

Hongjun loses, yet is even happier than if he'd won...

Tathagata: Am I really such a bad person? I'm not the villain, okay?!

Guanyin: I don't know what happened. I walked in and saw Boss Bodhi pinning Tathagata down and beating him...

Tang Sanzang: I'm starting to look more and more like a Buddha? I'm sticking with that Sun guy. He's got fiery eyes! I don't look like one? If I don't, I'm dead!

Bajie: As for getting the scriptures, talk to Li Shimin about the human realm, and to my Brother Monkey about the demon realm. The immortal realm? Heh... Patriarch Bodhi! An immortal is picking on me!

Sha Seng: I'm not a mole! I really am not! I'm not a mole for the Celestial Court, or for the West! I swear! Can you stop pinning every blame on me?

Sun Wukong: Master, you're asking for it! Master, he's asking for it!

Jade Emperor: Sigh... I'm tired. I'm done playing. Do whatever you want!

King Yama: You really think I have no powerful backers, huh?! Lady Houtu, they're all ganging up on me! What? Nuwa's here? She says I'm keeping her from having grandchildren? That monkey's getting married? I... Never mind, I didn't say anything.
