"The Birth of Tragedy" is one of five books in a series of Nietzsche's classic works translated by Zhou Guoping. It is Nietzsche's first officially published work and one of his famous masterpieces. In this book, Nietzsche pioneered the theory of dualistic artistic impulses of Apollonian and Dionysian. While conducting an aesthetic discussion on Greek art, he completed his thinking on the meaning of life.
