Misty Rain over Green Willows

Eight years ago, she and the man she loved were separated by an accident. He was heartbroken, and she was devastated. Eight years later, they meet again, bound together by their old feelings. Pubei Yi, its fragrance still as sweet as ever! But the accident's repercussions linger, entangling their families in regret and resentment, a best friend's youthful unrequited love, and friends' probing questions and concealed truths… Then there's the lecher who takes liberties under cover of darkness and won't stop teasing her, and the rejected suitor who barges in, unwilling to give up. A secret love ends without a word; years after they miss their chance, they learn they could have chosen each other all along! A confession leads them to believe they're in love; after a night of tenderness, they discover their feelings were never mutual. After years bedridden by illness, she finally learns which nobody started it all, but he's already dead! So what kind of story is this? A story of steadfast true love? Of indecision and confusion? Of forgiveness and letting go? Maybe all of those, maybe none of them! In the brief life we're pushed through, as long as there's sincerity, nothing else really matters that much!
