Misty Hours, A Lifetime Left to Give

Ten years ago, he wrote her a letter cutting off all ties, and she left in resentment. Ten years later, he pulls out a box full of love letters, an airport baggage-claim ticket, and white roses he never gave her. The “jerk” act back then was all an act of silent sacrifice! Watch the heroine go from “I can’t believe you” to crying because he spoils her, and the hero go from putting on a cold, tough front to proposing in public. The satisfying moments come thick and fast, with tears and sweetness in equal measure. No vicious mother-in-law! Shi’s mother helps with the baby, and Su’s mother makes sweet-and-sour ribs. No bratty kids! Their daughter inherits her parents’ dream of attending medical school and even helps them make lovey-dovey gestures. Even the antagonist from earlier on turns into their matchmaker, finding true love and then offering them his blessing.
