After dying suddenly from overwork at thirty, Lin Mengmeng opens her eyes to find herself back in 1998, reborn as an adorable five-year-old with a diaper around her waist.
Before she can even complain about the bugs in her rebirth, a cheeky, lazy voice booms in her mind:
“Ding! Lie Flat Life System Kaka successfully bound! Ultimate goal: lie flat in style~”
“Path to success: become a top student, then earn a hundred billion!”
Mengmeng looks at the leaky tiled-roof house and her young, poor parents, then clenches her fists in outrage:
“I’m going to grind! This time, I’ll grind my whole family into millionaires!”
And so, the 1990s take a sudden turn
[Kindergarten, Junior Class]
She draws 3D modeling plans with a baby bottle in her mouth and crushes third graders with Olympiad problems.
The teacher shrieks, “A prodigy is born!”
Mengmeng covers her face. “No! It’s the soul of an overworked office drone burning…”
[Outside the Lottery Shop]
She clings to her dad’s leg and wails, “Grandpa said in my dream that these numbers will win five million!”
Her father hesitates, then pulls out his wallet. “…Should we trust the kid this once?”
That night, the whole family stares dumbfounded at the TV: the jackpot numbers really do match!
[Stock Exchange]
Riding on her dad’s shoulders, she holds up a sign: “Put everything into Moutai!”
The manager scoffs, “Is this kid fooling around?”
Ten years later, he’s looking at the stock chart and bowing to a statue of little Mengmeng…
The Kaka System never misses a chance to roast her:
Fail a mission? Three days of bedwetting!
Get caught pretending to be a baby? Your “baby act” gets a score of zero!

And just as Mengmeng is sprawled in a beach chair on a tropical island, her left hand holding her admission letter from Peking University or Tsinghua and her right holding proof of assets worth a trillion
Kaka suddenly freezes: “Warning! The ultimate lie-flat lifestyle has been hijacked by an extraterrestrial civilization…”
