The Mistake of Scale Abyss

Synopsis of The Scales of the Abyss

When Liu Azi was six, she rescued a gravely injured white snake by the creek. The strange light shimmering across its scales marked her first encounter with an unknown fate. Years later, a man in black arrived under the moonlight, and an unexpected bond sent the wheel of her destiny spinning in a new direction.

Happiness never lasts long. When the River God appeared, offering five wishes, Liu Azi's family's greed grew without limit. Wealth and power came one after another, but desire also shattered their family ties. Abandoned by her family, Azi gave birth on a despairing, rain-soaked night to a dragon egg glowing with mysterious light, drawing the fear and persecution of the villagers.

Just as she and her child were about to be sunk to the bottom of the river, a dragon god appeared, blotting out the sky, and rescued them. But after entering the Dragon Palace, Azi discovered that everything there was far more complicated than she had imagined. The secret of the dragon egg brought an ancient prophecy to light, while currents stirred beneath the Scaled Abyss. The Celestial Court's demands for answers and the demon realm's covetousness plunged them into one crisis after another.

Only then did Azi learn that the white snake she had rescued was the dragon god who ruled over the waters, and that their meeting, though it seemed accidental, had been destined. Hidden in the depths of the Scaled Abyss was a secret tied to the survival of all three realms, and she and the dragon egg became the focus of a struggle among all sides.

Caught between her disappointment in her family and the crisis threatening the three realms, Azi must choose between love and hate, good and evil. Can she break free of fate's chains and protect her child and the one she loves? Can she uncover the secret hidden in the depths of the Scaled Abyss and avert disaster across the three realms? In this adventure filled with love, hate, and tangled passions, every step Azi takes will determine the fate of everyone
