This Shiliuzui Village is very evil! The river is the "little tail" of the Huaihe River. The pomegranate trees on the bank can live for three hundred years, and when the red flowers bloom, they can dye the river water into rouge. The boat is a "river town boat" made of catalpa wood, with a wood carving of Tushan's daughter embedded in the stern. The elders say that "when the wood carvings are there, the river will not be in trouble." But since 1948, this river has not been in peace - it has been flooded, smashed by machines, soaked in sewage; neither have the people - those who guard the river, those who escape, those who harm the river, and those who save it, like pomegranate seeds, wrapped in sour and sweet, rolling in the waves of the times.
