First of all, I personally feel that the plot is really good. The plot is compact and there is no one case throughout the whole story. This kind of multiple cases is like small stories one by one, which is very interesting. Talking about the male and female protagonists, in fact, it was a bit of a drama at first. Firstly, the female protagonist had too many scenes, as if the male protagonist and his henchmen were all a bunch of losers. Secondly, the first case of the female protagonist required an autopsy at the end. After disembowelling the body, she washed her hands and persuaded the male protagonist's guards to continue the autopsy. After the autopsy, the organs were not returned to their original positions and the chest was closed for processing. That is really disrespectful to the corpse. Finally, I heard that whether it's a good book or not, this book has the most punctuation marks I've ever read, and there are some books that obviously don't need punctuation marks.
