The Daoist Physician Who Brings Peace to the World

Lin Yue, an emergency physician at Haishi First People's Hospital, is hailed as “a god in the operating room” for his extraordinary modern medical skills. Yet as he faces more and more “incurable diseases” beyond the reach of modern medicine, he is overcome by helplessness and doubt.

A bizarre resuscitation attempt draws him into a world that overturns everything he believes. A mysterious old man on the brink of death implants a “Divine Soul Dao Seed,” containing the legacy of ancient Daoist medicine, into Lin Yue’s body. From that moment on, his life takes a completely different course.

The human body is no longer merely flesh and blood, but a cosmic cauldron that stores “essence, energy, and spirit.” Disease is no longer a matter of viruses and cellular mutations, but the work of “plague ghosts” born from resentment and “Plague Gods” from primordial antiquity. The doors of the ancient organization known as the “Heavenly Medicine Bureau,” whose legacy has been severed and whose mission is to protect the mortal world, open to him.

When the scalpel of Western medicine meets the Daoist’s three-inch silver needle; when viruses under a microscope face the “plague energy” perceived by the spiritual sense; when the order of modern civilization is threatened by the awakening of an ancient Plague God... Lin Yue will enter the Dao through medicine and use the Dao to save the world. He vows to forge his own path to supreme medical mastery in this bizarre city and fulfill the ultimate oath: “My fate is mine to command, not Heaven’s.”

He will heal not only the illnesses of mortals, but also the imbalance in the “Dao” of Heaven and Earth!
