The Battle for the Heavenly Way in Classic of Mountains and Seas

This story is entirely fictional. The original female lead is the Underworld King, Di Jun Ning/Xiang Linglong; the male lead is Xiang Liu. This story is not friendly to Xiao Yao. Can you love me? My lady, have you taken a liking to me? Yes. Tell me, what must I do to make you love me? When you understand what love is, my lady, I’ll give you an answer! It’s a deal! Di Jun Ning, the ruler of the underworld, had never understood matters of the heart. For the first time, she fell for someone, and a thread of affection stirred in the heart of the Underworld King. She wanted to know what love was, how it could make someone willing to die for another, yet leave them in such pain and heartache. But what moved her wasn’t Xiang Liu’s selfless devotion to someone he loved. It was his soul, pure as crystal, untouched by a speck of darkness despite the world around him. They were drawn together soul to soul, their spirits in harmony. What seems like the Underworld King undergoing a trial for love is really a test from the Heavenly Dao. When the rules of the Heavenly Dao fall away, demons run rampant across the three thousand worlds, and danger lurks everywhere, in plain sight and in the shadows. When she can choose only between love and the people of the world, what should she choose? Di Jun Ning: Only children have to choose. I want both love and the people of the world. Bai Zhen and the High God Zhe Yan have been added. They are a couple in the story, and they’ll both live happily in the end.
