My soul transmigrated into Journey to the West, and from the start I was on the Bridge of Helplessness, about to have my soul annihilated by a Buddhist Great Luo! The Three Realms are watching live!
At the critical moment, I used storytelling as my guide to confer a divine title from myth! "The title Victorious Fighting Buddha was not your wish! The Golden Hoop binds your heart, but it is not your true nature! In the name of legends that endure for all eternity, I confer your true name: Great! Sage! Equal! To! Heaven!"
The next instant, the Victorious Fighting Buddha opened his divine eyes in fury. Demonic energy pierced through the Thirty-Three Heavens, and the Golden Cudgel pointed at all the gods and Buddhas in the sky. "Who dares touch him today!"
My name is Ling Chen, a storyteller who can turn stories into reality.
Five hundred years after Journey to the West, Buddhism flourished and myths withered.
The gods and Buddhas in the sky were all hypocrites, and the tales of heroes had been buried in dust.
So I wielded words as blades and history as a sword, reshaping the order of the Three Realms!
You think I only have the Great Sage Equal to Heaven?
I retold Nezha's Havoc in the Dragon Palace, letting him see through the shackles of patriarchal and divine authority. The Great Deity of the Three Altars and Seas is my brother!
I revealed the truth behind Yang Jian's Mountain-Splitting tale, letting him see the rotten roots of the Heavenly Court. The God of Justice is my inside man!
Bull Demon King, immortals of the Jie Sect, ancient demons... Every unresolved grievance in the Three Realms is a piece on my board and an honored guest at my table!
The Buddhists plan to launch their Eastward Journey to spread the Dharma, creating another Golden Cicada to harvest faith?
Then I'll walk the Journey to the West again with the Great Sage, not as his bodyguard, but as his tribulation!
I'll turn those Eighty-One Tribulations into eighty-one slaps across the Buddhists' faces!
I'll show every living being in the Three Realms who truly has compassion and who only pretends to save all!
I will make it so the heavens can no longer cover our eyes!
I will make it so the earth can no longer bury our hearts!
I will make all the gods and Buddhas in the sky vanish into nothing!
