At 56 Siping Road in bustling Shanghai, a sudden fire consumed everything. Firefighter He Feng died heroically in the flames while saving a little girl, but the mysterious scientist Yue Yang pulled him back from the brink of death. Injected with “Purple Element,” he became a “Fire Demon,” gifted with the power of flames. Reborn after suffering burns over 90 percent of his body, He Feng’s skin burns like fire. When his emotions spiral out of control, he can spew flames and even conjure blades of fire from thin air. But Yue Yang’s arrival reveals a deeper conspiracy: “There’s a hidden hand behind this fire, and the truth about your death goes far beyond dying in the line of duty.” As the protagonist gradually masters his “Fire Spirit Body” form, with his skin turning gold and flames moving at his command, he must wear a skull mask to conceal his identity, wavering between revenge and redemption. When special training in the laboratory reveals the truth about his fiery powers, He Feng sets out to destroy the force behind the fire. Will he become the hellfire of vengeance, or the flame spirit who protects the world?
