Advertising planner Yue Lin dies suddenly after working overtime and transmigrates into the body of a baby lop-eared rabbit in the Beast World.
During a blizzard, Cang Ming, the silver wolf chieftain, mistakes her for rare prey and brings her back to his tribe. Her snow-white fur leads everyone to believe she comes from noble blood. In the face of adversity, she unexpectedly reveals that she can decipher ancient beast script, catching the attention of Fei Yan, the fox tribe’s priestess.
As the seasons change, Yue Lin gradually discovers that her “Moon Rabbit bloodline” can regulate the Beast World’s energy. During the Month of Awakening of Insects, when the snake tribe attacks, she uses her species’ ability to fluff up into a ball to escape. In the Month of the Summer Solstice, she heals Cang Ming’s old wound with the fur on her ears. By the Month of the Autumn Equinox, she even repairs the broken seasonal star chart.
When the snake queen reveals the truth that “the Moon Rabbit is a vessel for resurrecting the Moon Goddess,” Yue Lin discovers that the snake queen is actually her own former self, whose reincarnation failed a century ago.
So many mysteries remain…
