The Empress’s Junior Sister Is a Ghost Fiend: My Path to Immortality

History, conquest, high-level martial arts, political intrigue, the uncanny, and thrilling wish fulfillment.

Zhang Qingfeng is a Taoist priest at a modern temple who transmigrates into the body of a temple's head priest in the Great Wu Dynasty.

The temple has only him and his junior apprentice sister. It's in a sorry state, and neither of them has any cultivation.

This is a world where might makes right, and demons, monsters, ghosts, and spirits all exist.

The Great Wu Dynasty venerates Buddhism and has even established it as the state religion.

Three hundred years ago, the Daoist masters suddenly vanished or died en masse, and the Daoist scripture, The Profound Truths Manuscript, disappeared as well.

The Daoist tradition lost its inheritance.

Over the past three hundred years, the court and the Buddhist sects have suppressed Daoism until its lineage has nearly been wiped out.

Zhang Qingfeng activates the Daoist Revival System and finds a fragment of The Profound Truths Manuscript in a secret chamber beneath the temple.

Watch as he joins forces with his junior apprentice sister and the beautiful ghost jiangshi he crafted to take on the bald monks, slay demons, destroy monsters, and restore peace to the world, beginning his rise to power.

By a twist of fate, the reigning dynasty's eldest princess forces herself on him.

A year later, the princess seeks out Zhang Qingfeng for help!

In the end, Zhang Qingfeng joins forces with the princess to destroy the Buddhist sects, rebel against the court, vie for supremacy over the realm, battle demons, and capture ghosts, setting out on the path to immortality.
