Adventures in Journey to the West

This is an epic journey from Chang'an to Spirit Mountain. Xuanzang, driven by his faith in saving all living beings, leads three disciples, each with extraordinary powers and a troubled past: Sun Wukong with his Fiery Golden Eyes, the honest and fearless Zhu Bajie, and the steadfast, mild-mannered Sha Wujing. Together, they cross countless rivers and mountains, outwit demons and monsters, and wrestle with their own obsessions. They shatter the arrogance that once defied the heavens and cut through the delusions of the mortal world. At last, through the Eighty-One Tribulations, they come to understand the true meaning of seeking the scriptures: the true scriptures are not on Spirit Mountain, but in every step of growth and redemption along the journey west.
