Wang Chengzhu: “Commander, give me an artillery platoon. In three months, I’ll give you an artillery regiment!”
Li Yunlong: “Get lost! I’ll give you a squad! If you can raise a company in three months, I’ll be your bodyguard!”
Three months later, Ping’an County has resisted repeated assaults, and Li Yunlong is pacing in a panic. Then he suddenly remembers Wang Chengzhu and waves his hand:
“Get Wang Chengzhu’s artillery company up here!”
The next second, the earth shakes and thousands of guns roar. The entire county seat is engulfed in flames!
Li Yunlong stares at the endless ranks of heavy artillery and the surging tide of steel before him, frozen in shock.
Wang Chengzhu drives up in a tank and salutes.
“Commander, how about an artillery army and an armored division for your bodyguards? Is that enough to take Taiyuan?”
Very nice, I think.
