Love Apartment: Where the Petals Drift

Liu Chen was an ordinary young man who never imagined he would somehow end up inside Love Apartment, the show he had been following.

When he wakes up on that pink Hello Kitty sofa, sees Zeng Xiaoxian yawning over a “Good Man” mug, and hears Hu Yifei threatening people with her taekwondo black belt, he finally has to accept the ridiculous truth: he has transmigrated to Love Apartment in 2009.

Here, he has to deal with Lu Ziqiao’s endless “business ventures,” help Chen Meijia work out utility bills she can never get right, listen to Lu Zhanbo explain parallel-universe theory, and stay on guard in case Zhang Wei mistakes his internet cable for a “sword of justice.”

From being completely at a loss at first, to joining this lovable bunch for a hot pot party during a power outage, a Valentine’s Day confession gone wrong, and a group New Year’s Eve countdown, Liu Chen gradually realizes that this apartment, full of laughter and noise, has become a home he can’t bear to leave.

As familiar storylines quietly change because of his presence, and friendship and love slowly blossom amid all the banter and bickering, Liu Chen begins to wonder: perhaps transmigrating here wasn’t an accident, but fate giving him the chance to take part in youth.

This is a story about growing up, companionship, and love. In every corner of Love Apartment, there are delightful surprises that warm your heart as they make you laugh.
