Burying Jade, Burying the Moon, Burying the Soul

A bloodstained piece of ancient jade reveals a family secret buried for a hundred years. Shen Yu, a history student, is accidentally drawn into a struggle over the Soul-Nourishing Jade. From a terrifying night at an auction to sinister shadows haunting the depths of an old house, he is forced to join forces with the spirit inside the jade and walk the line between good and evil.

The Zhou family’s generations of blood debts, a feng shui master’s chilling curse, the silent guardianship of the Moon-Gathering Pavilion... As the broken jade pieces are restored one by one, the truth behind the lunar eclipse gradually emerges: to bury the jade is to lay greed and obsession to rest; to bury the moon is to dispel the gloom in people’s hearts; to bury the souls is to let every injustice find peace and allow kindness to endure through time.

From rain-soaked old alleyways to jade mines deep in the Kunlun Mountains, Shen Yu’s journey is not only a quest to solve mysteries, but also a path of cultivation devoted to protection and redemption. The figures bound to the jade, a little girl in a red bellyband, an old woman who guards the jade, and descendants who carry on their mission, together weave a legend spanning a hundred years: jade may crack and spirits may scatter, but the warmth of the human heart can make time as gentle as jade and let moonlight shine through the ages.
