Blood-Burning Red Lotus

The entire Kunlun Lotus Venerable clan was slaughtered. Their young lord, Lin Che, was abandoned at the bottom of the Ten-Thousand-Year Mysterious Ice Abyss, with nothing but half a fragmentary manual in his arms and his father's dying words in blood: "The lotus births karmic fire; blood boils and burns the heavens."

For three years, lost in darkness, he used his blood as a catalyst to activate the cinnabar mole over his heart. To his shock, he cultivated a blood-red lotus flame, utterly unlike the Lotus Heart Art. It devoured spiritual power and scorched souls, while etching silver lotus patterns into his bones and blood. With every inch they spread came the shrieks of his murdered loved ones.

Breaking free of the abyss, he took an assumed name and traveled alone. He met a blind girl who played "Lotus Heart Prelude" on a string made of bone, and learned that his mother's remains had been refined into a gu. Then a man in black revealed a shocking secret, and he discovered that his enemy, Qin Wushang, was actually his own brother, bound to him by blood.

Wherever the blood-red lotus flame passed, the guilty turned to ash, while those with good intentions were nourished by spiritual power. As the final battle began at the lotus pond atop Kunlun, he tore his soul apart to plant a seed, drawing the karmic flames across the sky together into a red lotus that blotted out the heavens.

"You stole my Lotus Heart Art, refined my mother into a gu, and slaughtered my entire clan. Today, I will use the power you crave most to burn your path to ash!"

This is a tale of revenge, feeding a lotus with blood, and a lament forged in flame from the soul. When blood-red lotuses bloom across all three realms, only then will the world understand: the yin and yang of the lotus have never been a matter of compassion and cruelty, but rather...

"If the world betrays me, I will burn the heavens with lotus flame and bring a new age of clarity."
