Whispers of the Netherworld Lantern

The protagonist, Lu Xun, is a young folklorist and freelance writer. By chance, perhaps after inheriting an antique shop in the old district that hides a mysterious fragment of the scroll Ghostly Lamp Whispers, he gains the ability to sense and even communicate to a limited extent with certain entities, mainly ghosts and spirits. Alternatively, he is drawn into a series of investigations involving paranormal events. Using his knowledge and steadily growing abilities, he records the little-known stories of another world unfolding around him.
