The Amber of Time

In the rapidly developing city of Xinghai, cultural relic restorer Lin Mo lives a life much like the antiques in her hands: peaceful, yet warmed by the passage of time. Then a mysterious ancient book capable of awakening objects’ memories enters her life by chance, upending her ordinary routine. Shen Yan, guardian of the book, arrives bearing buried secrets and mortal danger, forcing the two to team up as “relic detectives.” From blue-and-white porcelain that can “tell stories” to an old pocket watch hiding fragments of time, every restored artifact reveals a past buried beneath the years. As a technology company’s conspiracy to “extract memories” gradually comes to light, they must press on while protecting the truth of history and evading pursuit. With craftsmanship, they stand against ambition, and as they restore relics, they quietly piece together each other’s shattered pasts.
