Scene One: Six-year-old Nie Jinsen came bounding in, proudly waving a test paper with perfect scores. “Mom, Mom! I got 100 points! I’m the only one in my class who did!”
His radiant smile made it easy to see just how happy he was.
But Nie’s mother merely glanced at him, her brows drawing together slightly. “You’re the future heir to the Nie family. You should never let your emotions show in your words or actions. How could you ruin your image over one little test?”
The light in young Nie Jinsen’s eyes dimmed at once. He watched his mother walk away, opening his mouth as if to speak, but in the end he said nothing.
From then on, Nie Jinsen became the very model of “perfection.”
A little scene after the wedding: Jiang Xingmian came downstairs after a good night’s sleep. The moment she spotted Nie Jinsen, she launched into an enthusiastic stream of compliments. She barely even saw what he was doing before she started praising him. “Wow, hubby, you’re even more amazing today. Mwah, mwah, mwah!”
Nie Jinsen chuckled and wrapped an arm around his lazy little wife as she leaned against him. His eyes brimmed with affection. He was already getting used to Jiang Xingmian showering him with praise at every opportunity.
Jiang Xingmian loved praising Nie Jinsen wherever they went. She could tell that hearing her compliments made him happy, and she absolutely loved seeing him happy.
Except in bed… He was already barely holding on, and when she started praising him, he really couldn’t stop himself!
First of all, I admit that I jumped to read it based on the title. Basically, it was based on the title to see when the author was willing to announce the relationship between the male and female protagonists. I think it is unfair to both the male and female protagonists not to announce it. However, when I saw the latest chapter, I found out that the female protagonist participated in the love show. No matter for whatever reason, whether it was to help a good friend or whatever, I felt that it was unacceptable. The female lead participated in the love show even though she had a boyfriend. Regardless of whether she had contact with other male guests, I felt a little alienated.
