The Secret Empire

With “cosmic symbiosis” as its central theme, The Secret Unified Empire is a science-fiction epic set in 2888, when Earth is mired in civil war over resources and on the brink of nuclear war. Scientist Mi Fan, who left Earth 960 years earlier and has since become the founder of three thousand symbiotic star regions, returns to his homeworld aboard the Miwang No. 1 with his assistant Shu Meili, a hybrid of silicon-based and carbon-based life. The story unfolds along two parallel tracks, on Earth and across the stars. Using the Ultimate Seventh Zone of the Devil's Forest as his base, Mi Fan joins forces with peace advocates such as Old Chen and Lin Ye. He improves lunar soil to build a new home on the Moon while fighting Zhao Tianxiong, leader of the war faction, who has allied himself with the Plunderers. Meanwhile, the Plunderers' leader, Xue Sha, launches a massive attack on the Symbiotic Star Regions while Mi Fan is away. Xing Yuan's veteran governor leads the people in resistance, forcing Mi Fan to fight on two fronts. As the conflict escalates, Mi Fan discovers Xue Sha's plot to use Earth as a stepping stone to devour the Symbiotic Star Regions. He introduces symbiotic patterns to Earth, helping humanity forge a connection with symbiotic civilization. In the end, Mi Fan leads an alliance of humanity and the symbiotic civilization to crush the Plunderers and destroy Zhao Tianxiong's ambitions for dictatorship, bringing the threat of nuclear war on Earth to an end. Earth's civilization officially joins the Symbiotic Era. Mi Fan works to establish a cosmic order of symbiosis among all races, then leads the younger generation in exploring hyperdimensional space, allowing the ideal of symbiosis to endure across an even wider universe. The story brings to life its central message: “Symbiosis is the ultimate law governing the survival of civilizations.”
