Acupuncture to the Azure Clouds

Needles Ascend to the Azure Sky tells the story of Yan Zixin, a traditionally trained Chinese medicine practitioner. While heading to Qianshiying to provide grassroots medical aid, he is astonished by the folk doctor Shi Baocai's Four Symbols Acupuncture Technique, and thus embarks on a journey to preserve and pass down traditional Chinese medicine. At Qianshiying, he uncovers efforts to undermine Chinese medicine. In Qingzhou City, he faces a joint campaign by Gao Ming, deputy director of the Western Medicine First faction, and Western capital. In the provincial capital, he joins forces with others to break free of capital's encirclement. Finally, he returns to Qianshiying to rebuild the system for passing on traditional Chinese medicine. The story centers on the struggle for the survival of traditional Chinese medicine today, exposing how Western capital and the Western Medicine First faction are trying to suppress it. It portrays practitioners' perseverance and resistance, ultimately rebuilding faith in Chinese medicine and improving the system for passing on its traditions, so that modern Chinese medicine can thrive anew in today's society.
