The Apocalypse’s Spirit-Tech Files

Among the ruins of the post-apocalyptic world, mechanic Lin Ye pursues a supernatural shadow, determined to uncover the connection between his sister’s disappearance and forbidden technology.

Three years after the apocalypse began, the once-prosperous city has become a wasteland of concrete and twisted steel. When the wind sweeps through broken buildings, it carries a metallic groan. Lin Ye crouches in a workshop built inside an abandoned subway station, his hands smeared with grease as he tightens the bolts on an old generator. Mechanical parts salvaged from the ruins are piled in a corner, each stamped with the mark of the old world. He is one of the few mechanics left in this wasteland, repairing equipment for the occasional survivors in exchange for canned food and medicine, all to sustain his determination to find his younger sister, Lin Xi. Before she disappeared, Lin Xi was a researcher at the Ark Project genetic laboratory, humanity’s last great hope before the apocalypse. Now, only abandoned outposts scattered across the land remain.
