Apocalypse System: The Leader

At the moment the apocalypse arrives, Cai Yuan, an ordinary young woman, unexpectedly obtains a one-of-a-kind System. This secret becomes her lifeline in the post-apocalyptic world, but it also brings endless trouble. Other survivor groups fight to seize limited resources, surrounding and pursuing Cai Yuan’s team in an attempt to take her System. If the secret of the System’s uniqueness is exposed, not only will other factions hunt her down relentlessly, but the System’s creator might also be alerted, bringing total destruction. Cai Yuan is weak at first and often struggles against powerful mutated monsters, suffering repeated setbacks in battle. At the same time, resources are desperately scarce in the apocalypse, severely limiting her team’s growth, while the chaotic social order restricts their every move. Worse still, disputes over resource distribution lead other survivors to mistake Cai Yuan for someone hoarding everything for herself, and tensions between them keep escalating. However, Cai Yuan follows the growth path provided by the System, earning experience and leveling up by killing monsters, then completing missions to unlock skills. Although every breakthrough comes at the heavy cost of teammates being injured or making the ultimate sacrifice, she grits her teeth and carries on. The massive waves of mutated monsters that arrive at regular intervals ring like a countdown, urging Cai Yuan to grow stronger and improve the base’s defenses. Through these hardships, Cai Yuan gradually grows from an individual struggling to survive into a resolute leader. She guides her team through one crisis after another, not only successfully holding off the monster hordes but also rising above the competition with other factions. In the end, can Cai Yuan uncover the truth behind the apocalypse and the System?
