Sheng Yan and Song Ran were the childhood sweethearts everyone at the affiliated high school knew about. Even Sheng Yan thought they would go to college together after the entrance exams, just as they had promised. But then she broke up with him, saying she didn’t want to keep working so hard. Seven years later, the first thing Song Ran does after returning home is withdraw five million from the bank and throw it at Sheng Yan. He wants her to regret it and reminds himself not to give in. But when they meet again, he ends up tearfully pleading, “Sheng Yan, will you give me a chance to take care of you? Let’s start over. It’s not too late.”
