Shen Qingci is the charming young lady of the Grand Tutor’s residence in the capital. In public, she is a delicate flower who tends plants and arranges blossoms. In private, she is the sole disciple of a renowned doctor who lives in seclusion, and keeps her extraordinary medical skills well hidden.
Legend has it that deep in the Miasma Forest grows a life-restoring herb that can bring the dead back to life when used with a blood sacrifice. Yet no one who enters the forest ever returns. When this mysterious tale collides with her unshakable resolve to find the herb, the seemingly delicate flower picks up her medicine case and steps into the mist.
Others may not make it out, but she intends to walk out of legend for all the world to see, carrying the divine herb with her.
