Aotu World: Before We Heal

She discovers that she can purify and heal, but the downside is that any harm she deals is reflected back on her twofold, so she rarely uses her powers. Later, the Saintess tells her that she can only live until the age of eighteen, but that heading east may offer a glimmer of hope. You Xi doesn’t want to die yet, so she has no choice but to head east. On the way, she also visits the Knight Sanctuary, only to find that An Muxiu is the only one left. An Muxiu says he’s going to the Aotu Contest to get answers about the knights. You Xi checks the map and sees that the contest is at the easternmost point, so she immediately says she’ll go with him. An Muxiu says nothing, but sneaks off by himself the next day. In the end, he goes alone. Once You Xi arrives at the Aotu Contest, she competes while secretly suppressing An Muxiu’s curse on the side. The further she gets through the stages, the more puzzled You Xi becomes. Why are there more and more people to save? Wasn’t she here to find a glimmer of hope for herself? Can she really live to eighteen if she keeps saving people like this? Wait, that can’t be right? What’s this black thing? Never mind, I’ll save it too, though the price seems pretty steep. Huh? So her own identity isn’t so simple after all?
