Chen Yu, a ten-year diehard fan of Steel-type Pokémon, is thrown from the real world into the fantastical seas of the Pokemon world after a car accident.
When he wakes on a deserted island and sees Wingull circling overhead, he realizes with a start that he's transmigrated to the world of his dreams. Ash is still a child, his legendary journey has yet to begin, and powers like Mega Evolution and Dynamax remain hidden in the mists of the future.
An undocumented outsider with no identity and no companions, he has only a damaged phone and a mysterious System that occasionally comes to life. His first encounter with a Wingull ends in a failed capture and a painful peck? No matter. As a Steel-type specialist, he has plenty of patience.
From a humiliating start, pinned down and handcuffed by the police, to reaching Dewford Town, rich in Steel-type resources, and facing the secrets of Granite Cave and the threat of illegal forces at sea, Chen Yu has only one goal: to start with Steel types and forge his own path to mastery across the vast Hoenn region and the entire Pokemon world.
There's thrilling battling, encounters with a diverse cast of women, and above all, a pure love for Pokemon. A new author invites fellow fans to join this adventure that begins with Steel types.
