The Little One Is Causing Mischief in the Underworld Again Today

Ye Xiaoming lives with his grandfather, a retired underworld judge who poses as the neighborhood gatekeeper, in an old residential compound where the Three Realms live side by side. His daily routine includes helping a tree spirit find its lost baby birds, calling out fake Taoist priests who swindle people, and taking junior underworld functionaries to try human-world milk tea. But he is unexpectedly drawn into a conspiracy spanning all three realms. Someone has stolen fragments of the underworld’s Book of Life and Death and altered mortals’ lifespans. They even plan to unleash evil ghosts in the human world. The clues lie in old objects around the compound, the neighbors’ pasts, and the mystery of Ye Xiaoming’s missing parents.
