I Was Born to Be a Wicked Woman

Revenge rose and younger guy (two-year age gap) Pretty livestreamer and esports boy [Livestream-scene drama + esports] Ensemble of women + personal growth + no golden finger, just the full spectrum of humanity [On my seventeenth birthday, my father was framed and jumped from a building, becoming a vegetable. My uncle seized the family fortune, my first love ran off with our last penny, and my former classmates laughed as they shoved me into a fire pit...] At seventeen, Jiang Susu went from being the daughter of Jiangcheng’s richest man to “the daughter of a deadbeat” in a single night. Her father leaped from a great height, leaving behind enormous debts. The people who once crowded around her trampled her into the mud. As she fled with her gravely ill mother, the blood from her bullying still clung beneath her fingernails. Five years later, under the alias “Jiang Bao,” she hides her sharp edges and squeezes into the livestreaming girl group Sparkling Baby as a substitute. Every night at eight, she dances in high heels until her ankles are bruised and smiles for the camera until her cheeks go stiff. Her “bubbly girl” persona is her armor. Every penny her viewers spend voting for her is medicine to keep her mother alive, and a blade to drive into her enemies. In front of the camera, they pretend to be sweet girls clinging to one another. Behind it, the scene is a merciless battlefield. When “Jiang Bao” strikes back with scandalous material and climbs to the top of the trending charts over her defeated rivals, Jiang Susu applies lipstick in front of the mirror. “So what if I was born a villain?” Jiang Susu, a blade of revenge reborn from the flames, meets Long, a younger boy carrying the pure warmth and light of the esports world. In a quagmire of fame and conspiracies, they become each other’s scabbard and armor, tempering their love in fire so their broken souls can reunite at the summit.
