Please don’t overanalyze it. A short, sweet story Leng Yechen, a high-ranking minor deity who’s been sent to the mortal realm to hunt ghosts, wanders into a bar and meets Yun Muhan, a clerk from the Underworld who moonlights as a male model. Drunk, he takes him home. The handsome model is great in bed, and Lord Leng can’t stop thinking about him. With a bold wave of his hand, he pays fifty thousand to keep him. Who knew that fifty thousand would be worth every penny? Yun Muhan is elegant and capable, can cook, and can even lend a hand with ghost-hunting. Lord Leng is delighted to have found a treasure. Little does he know he’s already fallen into a trap set for him. It’s no cruel scheme. It’s just Yun Muhan’s sincere, passionate heart. Only belatedly does Leng Yechen realize, “Wait, did I just buy myself for 666? So I’m the one who got kept?” Yun Muhan’s lips curl, a triumphant smile hidden in his eyes. “Lord Leng, fifty thousand for a true love and a huge fortune. Tell me, was it worth it?”
