This story begins after the Shohoku team defeats Sannoh Industrial in the national tournament. The setting and background stay as faithful as possible to Takehiko Inoue’s original work.
The story covers the national tournament through ten days later, then the Autumn National Sports Festival and the Winter Invitational. Finally, Sakuragi heads to the NBA!
