Water Margin: From the Start, I Conquer Pan Jinlian and Bring Down the Song Dynasty

Time Travel | Water Margin Setting | System Technology | Multiple Heroines | Scheming Plot with Twists

Lin Yuan, an anonymous nobody at the bottom of Song society, encounters time-traveling scientist Qiu Jieren and receives the Water Margin Mandate System.

Using the System’s technology and political schemes, he wins over key figures such as Pan Jinlian, Wu Dalang, and Wu Song, gradually bringing all 108 heroes of Liangshan under his command and building a vast power. He leads an army of 200,000 to overthrow the Song dynasty and proclaim himself emperor, only to be assassinated in a plot orchestrated by Song Jiang less than a day after his accession.

A series of reversals follows: Song Jiang is then poisoned by other heroes, and history ultimately returns to its original course, leaving all Lin Yuan’s conquests as nothing but an illusion.

The story explores fate’s return amid the clash of world-changing technology and human betrayal.
