Monster Hunter: Wilds Crossworld Hunting Grounds

On the eve of Monster Hunter: Wilds’ release in 2026, players around the world are swept into a temporal anomaly while preloading the game. Reality and the game’s boundaries collapse. Wilds’ open world becomes the foundation, absorbing fragments from dozens of other game worlds, including Zelda’s ruins, Dark Souls’ abyss, and Cyberpunk 2077’s wasteland, forming the perilous “Fused Wilds.” Twenty-four-year-old veteran hunter Lin Ye transmigrates and inherits a longsword and an extraordinary ability to anticipate monsters. Here, Arzuros is infused with the ferocity of Diablo, while Jyuratodus carries the radiation of STALKER. Hunting is no longer a game of stats, but a fight for survival with flesh and blood on the line. Lin Ye teams up with Erica, an adventurer from Tomb Raider; 07, an amnesiac android; and Buck, a former soldier who plays Hammer. Together, they travel between rusting cities and islands in the sky, fighting cross-world monsters and a player base torn apart. Some will stop at nothing to find a way home, while others face impossible odds to protect their bonds. When a “code chimera” awakens at the heart of the world and the fusion rate nears 100%, Lin Ye finally understands: this hunt was never about returning to some so-called “reality.” It is about finding, amid the shattered rules, an answer shared by games and life: bonds are the sharpest weapon of all.
