Armor: The Era of the Black Aegis

As Qin unified the Six Kingdoms, the Eastern Sea fangshi Xu Fu presented a jade slip from Penglai bearing mysterious inscriptions, unveiling secrets from antiquity. The golden patterns on Qin Shi Huang Ying Zheng’s dragon robe, Meng Tian’s bronze eagle-headed armor on the northern frontier, and Meng Yi’s family heirloom jade pendant all resonated with the mysterious armor.

A bronze tablet beneath the Epang Palace, a bronze gate in the Lishan mine, and a mysterious-armor well in the Xiongnu royal court concealed clues to the “Seven Relics of the Mysterious Armor.” Li Si discovered a tale in the Book of Zhou about a mysterious-armor prison. Zhao Gao secretly practiced the forbidden art of using the armor to exchange souls, while Zhang Han was transformed by corpse-qi armor. Various factions entered a fierce struggle over the mysterious armor.

When Meng Yi took his jade pendant north to rescue Meng Tian, the prophecy of the seven relics resonating began to unfold. Was this a divine artifact that could protect the nation, or a monster that would devour the world? A battle over the mysterious armor, one that would determine the fate of the Qin Empire, officially began with the tolling of the bells in Xianyang Palace.
