On a stormy night, four priceless museum artifacts stir: a Warring States-era Azure Dragon mirror splits with a flash of blue light, a Western Han White Tiger roof tile gathers white frost, a Qin-era Vermilion Bird bronze lamp ignites with red flames, and a Warring States-era Black Tortoise stele seeps ink-black liquid.
Four ordinary people are chosen: Chen Zhou, Lin Xia, Su Xiaoxiao, and Zhao Ye. The mark of one of the Four Divine Beasts appears on each of their wrists, making them the Hosts of the Azure Dragon, White Tiger, Vermilion Bird, and Black Tortoise armor. Forced to fight the Bone-Eroding Beasts, monsters formed from echoes of history and negative energy, they face creatures crawling out from the forgotten corners of the city.
The Azure Dragon commands water to break formations, the White Tiger rides the wind to strike, the Vermilion Bird burns away evil with fire, and the Black Tortoise calls on earth to defend against enemies. As the four struggle to form a team amid the ruins, a Western Zhou jade disc appears, awakening the Earth Qilin armor, Kun Yao. With the power of earth at the center, it unites the Four Symbols, serving as both the linchpin of offense and defense and the key to purification.
From Chu tombs to Qin beacon towers, from Han roof tiles to Zhou jade discs, they follow the trail of relics and fight between history and reality. The source of the Bone-Eroding Beasts lies buried in the past, and the mission of the Five Divine Armors is not merely to seal away darkness, but also to ensure that the history that should never be forgotten is remembered once more.
