King of Comedy? More Like a Shameless God!

A nobody transmigrates into the body of Zhen Jian, a disgraced celebrity in a parallel world. After binding himself to the All-Heavens Jerk God System, he discovers that Daxia here is even more… politically correct than the one he came from. Many hilarious works simply don’t exist here. “Collect public hatred, contempt, resentment, and other negative emotions to earn rewards?” And so Zhen Jian begins his career as a troublemaking Jerk God. On the singing show The Sound of Heaven, the other singers, like Deng Ziqi, perform songs such as “Devil.” Then Zhen Jian takes the stage with “How Lonely to Be Invincible,” making sound recommender Xie Tingfeng drop the drink in his hand. [Brother Jian is mighty!] [See that? That’s our Gege, bearing all the pressure alone just to bring us good music. What peaceful days? It’s all Gege carrying the burden for us.] [Are you people sick?] Sound recommender Da Zhangwei asks, “Are you sure your mental state is normal? Why did you stop your treatment back then?” Zhen Jian replies, “So I could give you the bed.” At Mushroom House, Zhen Jian is a washed-up celebrity and Teacher Huang doesn’t think much of him, so he’s forced to cook for everyone. He adds a little of the System’s “truth serum” to the pot. After everyone eats, Teacher He says, “Teacher Huang, do you know I’ve been putting up with you for ages? Do you seriously think you’re a great cook? I’ll be damned…” On the variety show Let’s Go, Brothers!, the director complains to Zhen Jian, “I told you to tear off name tags. Why the hell did you rip Reba’s clothes?” Zhen Jian’s new film, King of Duck Heads, hits theaters. A reporter asks, “Is this a food-themed movie?” “It’s the story of a male model’s struggle to make it.”
