The world doesn’t end with a bang, but with a sob.
Chen Luoshu’s flight met with disaster, and he embarked on an endless journey of drifting... A zombie-infested apocalypse, endless swarms of insects, a highly advanced interstellar age, a planet swallowed by floods, a dazzling medieval world of magic, an eerie and terrifying city, a primeval realm steeped in immortal energy, a present day governed by the laws of the end times, an utterly ordinary world, a spectacular otherworld... Endless worlds, endless wandering.
Chen Luoshu’s ability is to reset. Every time he dies, he has to start over. And so this journey of drifting goes on without end. The worlds are endless, and so are the stories...
Across endless ages,
he has awakened one afternoon in the Middle Ages, and fallen asleep aboard a starship traveling through a wormhole...
He has journeyed through a desolate, uninhabited prehistoric age, and through the desolate final age of a world where cultivation has withered away...
He has perished in a sea of insects, and tamed a wicked dragon...
He has had a harem of three thousand beauties, and grown old with the love of his life...
He has had an engagement broken off, and stolen a bride...
He has been a genius, and a good-for-nothing...
He has played the righteous hero, and the villain...
He has ascended to immortality with a crowd at his side, and walked alone...
He has lived a life of glory, and a life of wretched failure...
He has saved the world, and destroyed it...
Each reset is like another cycle of reincarnation.
He has struggled, lost his way, grown zealous, fallen into depravity, and rallied again...
Chen Luoshu cannot escape. All he can do is keep going.
(Whatever kind of world you want, you’ll find it here. The stories you can imagine, and the ones you can’t, can all be found here.)
It's more Japanese style, the protagonist is too "weak"
Very pretty.
Big cheers for the author
Pretending to predict the future even after death is toxic.
