The Princess Consort Who Understands Beast Speech Rules the Capital

Su Wanxi transmigrates into the body of a wealthy merchant’s eldest daughter. Not only does she remember the original owner’s life, but she can also talk to animals.

The original owner’s uncle and his family had once ruined her family. Her aunt and cousin had their eyes on the engagement arranged by her parents, and even deliberately caused her to fall into the water and drown.

With help from the little birds, Su Wanxi finds evidence of their crimes. Her grandmother punishes them soundly, and in front of everyone, Su Wanxi exchanges tokens with the heir of the Marquis of Weiyong and confirms their engagement. Want to steal her fiance? Not a chance!

This fiance is genuinely wonderful. When the emperor’s mare has a difficult birth and no one else can help, he lets Su Wanxi give it a try. When her cousin conspires with the ex-husband who mistreated the original owner to harm her, he saves her, too.

Even when Su Wanxi tells him she can talk to animals, he isn’t surprised. Later, they rely on the animals to gather information and discover that Prince Jin plans to rebel, while her uncle has joined forces with him to secretly sell weapons and opium. It’s a crime punishable by death.
