I’m the Light of the Righteous Path, So Why Is My Demonic Cultivation Maxed Out?

Lu Chen was a miserable 996 office worker. He died from overwork and transmigrated to a high-martial-arts world, where he got the genius role of “born with martial bones.” But as soon as he came of age, his family held a “democratic vote” to rip out his bones, casting him aside! On the brink of death, he bound himself to the [Light of the Righteous Path] System. He thought he was about to make a triumphant return like a classic overpowered hero, but the System had some seriously twisted ideas! Do a good deed and help an old lady? Get the demonic art Nine Nether Bone-Refining Art, automatically maxed out! Stand up to a school bully to help a classmate? The sinister Demonic Flame Bone-Burning Palm reaches perfection on the spot! Even the “Divine Bone of Righteous Vitality” the System gives him is covered in hellish runes. It looks upright and righteous on the outside, but inside it's bursting with demonic energy! Lu Chen is on the verge of tears: “What happened to being the light of the righteous path? Why does the more good I do, the more excited my demonic arts get, until they're automatically maxed out?!” Lu Chen gives up resisting. So what if his demonic arts are maxed out, as long as he keeps doing good deeds? Exorcise the remnants of the Demon Cult? Lu Chen pulls out the Scripture for Delivering Men and recites two lines. To everyone's horror, all the demon souls go whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, straight into his Human Emperor Banner! The banner even displays a scrolling message: “Now hiring banner spirits at competitive pay. Meals and lodging included!”
