Demon Slayer: The Strongest of Today Vs. The Strongest in History

My memories of a past life return, and I kill my demonized mother with my own hands!

Reincarnated as the eldest son of the Shinazugawa family, I treasure our poor but loving home above all else. My hazy memories of a past life help me appreciate it even more. I willingly shoulder the burden of supporting the family with my frail body and stand up to take the blows from my drunken, scumbag father.

Then comes that blood-red dusk. My mother turns into a demon and slaughters my younger siblings! To protect the only ones left, Sanemi and Genya, I grab a hatchet and fight for my life. When the sun rises, the “demon” lying dead is the mother I love most!

“Big Brother killed Mom!!!” Genya's anguished cry tears through the sky.

“Traitor! Murderer!” Sanemi's hateful gaze pins me in place.

At that moment, my long-delayed knowledge of the original Demon Slayer story crashes into my mind! If I had awakened just a moment sooner, this tragedy could have been avoided! My overwhelming remorse and murderous hatred for the true culprit, Muzan Kibutsuji, ignite completely!

Leaving behind the ruins of a family that now hates me, I become a raging wind of vengeance. At Mount Fujikasane, I fight alongside the future Stone Hashira, Gyomei Himejima. At Swordsmith Village, a furious swordsmith grabs me by the collar and tears into me. With three custom Nichirin Blades reforged after my own breaks, I slay demons at a speed beyond my limits, until I rise to the rank of Wind Hashira!

And yet, when Sanemi, now the Wind Hashira, and Genya, who has joined the Demon Slayer Corps, glare at me like I'm their enemy at the Hashira Meeting...

Should this Wind Hashira, who killed his own mother and carries endless regret, atone beneath his younger brother's blade? Or should he slaughter every demon in the world and wash away this despair with Muzan's blood...?
