Hogwarts: Slytherin's Gentle Exception

Everyone at Hogwarts bet that Snape's heart would remain frozen forever.

Until they saw it for themselves:

The cold, strict Potions Professor would keep watch by her bedside in the Hospital Wing late at night,

brew the gentlest potions for her, and lower every one of his defenses.

He was the gloomy, solitary Slytherin,

yet she was the only tender exception in his life.

After a lifetime in darkness, she was his one and only salvation.

It turned out his happiness had always been her, from beginning to end.
