He sells plant weapons with basic awareness, using “sunlight” as currency to sell the surviving humans the “sense of security” they depend on for survival. The “zombies” humans fear are not monsters who only want brains, either. They are creations of another mad scientist, Dr. Zomboss (Dr. Z). A “pact” established by a higher power maintains the world’s fragile balance: zombies must attack plants first. This ensures Dave’s business can continue indefinitely, while making humanity the safest and most pitiful spectators in this eternal war. I am not a pawn in this game. I am the embodiment of “emotion” and “wisdom,” an osmanthus tree named “Voice of the Nebula” that does not belong to this world. I once lost all my power after misunderstanding “love,” falling from a higher plane of existence. Now I must absorb all the intense and twisted emotions in this world to regain my power. After arriving, I subdued a powerful servant: a mad scientist named Professor Z, who hates and envies his own student. He transformed himself into a hybrid of plant and zombie. Now he is my most loyal, and most unstable, “lover.”
