The Sharp-Tongued Prophet: Reborn in the Entertainment Industry

In his past life, he was a top talent agent who secretly held the entertainment industry’s most sensitive secrets, including countless scandals yet to break and the trajectories of fallen stars. After crossing the interests of the powerful people pulling the strings, he was silenced. Reborn, he becomes Jiang Yu, a washed-up celebrity on the eighteenth tier with the same name as his former self. Just kicked out by his agency, he’s saddled with a massive contract termination penalty set up by an old enemy and is dirt-poor, like a rat crossing the street.

A bizarre ability awakens along with his rebirth: he is forced to become a “dead-on, sharp-tongued” prophet. Every day, he must publicly deliver “negative prophecies” about what is about to happen in the entertainment industry, using sarcasm, cutting remarks, and ridiculous jokes. Anything from an entertainer making a fool of themselves to a career-ending scandal is fair game. If he keeps quiet, he’ll suffer mental torture like hallucinations of public humiliation and unbearable itching all over.

Caught in the cutthroat battles of the entertainment industry, Jiang Yu walks a tightrope between “prophecy as a day job” and revenge. He uses his sharp-tongued predictions to rip away false masks while secretly plotting against the enemies from his past life. As his ridiculous roasts come true, onlookers go from snacking on gossip to sheer shock. He is the one who sets off the entertainment industry’s earthquake.

In this game of rebirth, his sharp tongue is his blade. This time, he’s going to rewrite the script of fate!
