Erwa, the Heavenly Court's Delivery Guy

Heavenly Court Delivery Guy is a lighthearted, humorous novel brimming with fantasy. The protagonist, Li Erwa, is an ordinary deliveryman in the mortal world, until a chance encounter sends him on the extraordinary adventure of delivering takeout to the Heavenly Court. He travels back and forth between the mortal world and the Heavenly Court, bringing the Earth God things like biological pesticides, flour, and seasonings. He helps the Earth God deal with cabbage pests and teaches the immortals how to make mortal dishes like dumplings and dressed cabbage. At the Heavenly Court’s harvest banquet, he gets along famously with the Jade Emperor, Queen Mother, Nezha, and the other immortals, amid constant laughter and cheer. In his eyes, these deities lose their lofty aura and become friendly, lovable, and full of everyday charm. A glowing seed accidentally unearthed in the Earth God’s vegetable garden adds an air of mystery to the story.
